Today Deadeye Games signed a letter of intent with Argentics to help develop the pre-alpha proto-type if funding is in place.
The Deadeye Games team is responsible for the concept development of Rulers of the Sea. This required experience in game design, history, project management, marketing, concept art, community management and business. The Deadeye Games team has plenty of experience in these area’s.
However, what was still lacking within the team were the actual MMO developers and game artists to actually build the game. To be an investible project this experience is necessary to have on board for the next phase.
In October and November we approached a number of possible development partners in order to create a partnership. Of the many studio’s we talked to, Argentics was by far the most enthusiastic and involved. They showed great interest in the details of the design and the realism of the project. They scutinized the documentation and after several on-line sessions with us they came out as believers in the project.
Argentics is a studio that’s been around since 2017. They have 80+ developers and artists across the world and have offices in the USA, Ukraine and Israel. They develop both for Unreal and Unity, PC, Console and Mobile and have experience in MMO development.
We have great confidence in them as a development partner and signed a letter of intent for the development of the pre-alpha (playable) proto-type we have planned to look for investment for. In out proposition towards investors we will now also present Argentics as a partner, closing the gap regarding having experienced game developers and artists on the team.
